Philosophy

Education is the key to success.  I want to make a difference in the lives of the students I teach.  As an educator, I take pride in creating opportunities for my students to practice and grow when learning a second language.  Knowing that I am assisting students to achieve their goals and objectives brings tremendous joy and satisfaction.

Biography

My name is Sylvia Cabrales.  I have been teaching ESL at Lynwood Community Adult School for 16 years.  I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies.  I am married and have two children.

As an educator, I take pride in creating opportunities for my students to practice and grow when learning a second language.  Teaching brings tremendous joy and satisfaction to my life by knowing that I am assisting students to achieve their goals and objectives.  Learning a second language can be challenging; that is why I teach and guide my students with dedication, enthusiasm, and patience.
