Lynwood Unified Celebrates Classified School Employee Appreciation Week

Lynwood Unified is proud to shine a spotlight on an essential group that keeps schools operating day in and day out during Classified School Employee Appreciation Week, celebrated May 19-23.

From keeping facilities clean and secure, to preparing nutritious meals, assisting in offices, supporting technology, and helping in classrooms and playgrounds, classified staff play a vital role in creating safe, welcoming and enriching learning environments for students and staff.

This week, Lynwood Unified is proud to recognize the outstanding individuals who have been named 2025 Classified Employees of the Year at their respective sites:

The 2025 District Classified Employee of the Year will be announced at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 22 during the Board of Education meeting, which will be live-streamed on the District’s LynwoodTV YouTube channel.

Lynwood Unified extends its sincere appreciation to all classified employees whose continued service strengthens every aspect of the success of our students. Their daily contributions reflect the District’s ongoing commitment to equity, access and opportunity for every student.
