Congratulations to Ms. Belinda Andrews, the #LCAS 2020-2021 #TeacheroftheYear!
The few, short sentences on this slide barely scratch the surface and cannot even begin to contain the amazing impact that Ms. Andrews has had and continues to have in our community and on the nursing students who have sat under her tutelage for the past 30 years.
Many students have nervously prepared for the LVN and CNA placement exams and entrance interviews and anxiously awaited "the letter." By the time they graduate, Ms. Andrews has imparted lots of knowledge, experience and even sprinkled a bit of tough love to ensure that they are #READY for the challenges ahead after passing their State Board and licensure exams. Each year, she diligently prepares the next band of #heroesinscrubs
