English as a Second Language

Lynwood Community Adult School offers an English as a Second Language (ESL) program consisting of five different levels (from Beginning Low to Advanced) for adults who wish to learn or improve their English. Each level may be completed in one semester.

The ESL Program concentrates on the four language skills:

Listening
Speaking
Reading
Writing

The classes begin with simple lessons and progress through more advanced levels. The goal of the program is to help our students reach their personal, academic and career goals.
