Lynwood Community Adult School’s English as a Second Language (ESL) program is designed for adults who want to learn or improve their English skills. The program offers five levels, from Beginning Low to Advanced, with each level typically completed in one semester.

Classes focus on building the four essential language skills:

  • Listening

  • Speaking

  • Reading

  • Writing

Whether you're just getting started or looking to advance your fluency, our supportive instructors will guide you every step of the way. The ESL program helps students gain the confidence and communication skills needed to achieve their personal, academic, and career goals.
