• Some 17-year-olds may be eligible under specific circumstances

• A valid photo ID is required for testing

Lynwood Community Adult School is a Pearson VUE Testing Center, meaning you can prepare and take your GED exam in one location.

HiSET® Test

• Format: Paper-based

• Publisher: Educational Testing Service (ETS)

Lynwood Community Adult School is also a certified HiSET Testing Center, offering students a choice in how they complete their high school equivalency journey.

Both the GED® and HiSET® are recognized by the California Department of Education, but they differ in format and structure. We encourage students to visit each official website to determine which best fits their learning and testing style.
