HiSET Testing Schedule

Registering for the Exam

Registration must be completed in person at:

11277 Atlantic Ave, Lynwood, CA 90262.

To make an appointment to register for the HiSET exam, please call (310) 604-3096.

Valid government-issued identification and proof of California residency are required to register for the test.

Exam Registration Schedule 

Monday - Thursday from 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM; Friday from 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Please note: Registration for the exam closes on Friday, the week before the exam.

Cost

Full Test Battery - $130
Retest - $30 for each exam

Acceptable payment methods

LCAS students: Cash or credit/debit card
Non-LCAS students: Cash only

Testing dates

Exams are administered on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday on the dates listed.
Examinees must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time for the exam on testing day.

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Writing [120 minutes] 
Tuesday
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Science [80 minutes] 
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM -Social Studies [70 minutes] 
Wednesday
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM  - Math [90 minutes] 
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Reading [Spanish 80 minutes/English 65 minutes]
