The EOC @ CSULB program is designed to identify and assist adult participants who want to enter, re-enter, continue or enroll in a program of post-secondary education. The EOC's mission is to assist program participants reach their educational and career goals by providing quality information, guidance and services. EOC provides free information and assistance to individuals who meet the program criteria.
The Educational Opportunity Center is a federally-funded program designed to assist qualified adults to enter or continue a program of post-secondary education. There is no cost to the participant for services.
Practice and Prepare for the “ACCUPLACER”
The ACCUPLACER is a widely used placement exam given at the time of enrollment used by community colleges and universities.
Academic advisors and counselors at your college or technical school use your ACCUPLACER test results to help place you in classes that match your skill level. ACCUPLACER tests help identify your knowledge, strength, and needs in math, reading, and writing. Along with information about your academic background, goals, and interests, your ACCUPLACER results help you choose courses that match your skill level and give you the best opportunities for success.
