Introduction to Computer Aided Drafting with SolidWorks

The Introduction to Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) & Design with SolidWorks program at Lynwood Community Adult School is designed for aspiring and currently employed technical/CAD drafters, preparing students for the Certified Solid Works Associate (CSWA) certification exam, as well as students interested in exploring the world of computer aided drafting/design.

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to take the Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) exam. This professional certification serves as a benchmark on which students can measure their expertise, as well as proof of their mastery of the latest cutting-edge software being used by the 3D design and fabrication industries. Students will also participate in career-focused sessions that cover soft-skills, resume writing, job searching, and interview techniques, including sitting for a “mock” interview which helps prepare them for the real thing.
