My ESL Teaching Philosophy
As a teacher, my most satisfying teaching experience in the classroom comes from a disciplined, yet motivational, relationship between the teacher and the students. My approach is to motivate learners to lead them towards subject matters in language teaching that enhances effective learning while helping the learners connect their views and thoughts with the family, the community, and the whole world. I, therefore, believe in teaching to expand learners’ “local knowledge” which includes their ideas and background knowledge as well as their mutual advantages in their social world.
