I believe everyone has their own unique talents, ideas and gifts. In my classroom, all students are challenged and motivated to reach their fullest potential. I provide an environment that is conducive to learning where students feel comfortable, safe and respected. Having this in place ensures students have the tools necessary to learn and achieve their goals.
My name is Sandra Castelo and I teach English as a Second Language at Lynwood Community Adult School. I have taught ESL classes from Beginning Level to Advanced for many years and I have taught Distance Learning and CBET classes as well . I have a Bachelors and Master's Degree in school counseling and a PPS Credential. In my time at LCAS, I have been nominated for Teacher of the year and I have also received a Lifetime Achievement Award. I am excited to be starting this school year and hope to inspire my students to believe in themselves.
